The Zodiac calendar is set to bring a boon of exotic footwear options to shelves, highlighted by the Jordan Year Of The Snake collection for Spring 2025. However, not to be left out, the Swoosh is bringing plenty to the table. New editions of the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 have hit the newswire in recent memory with the reptilian textile front and center. Tinker Hatfield’s design now pens a women’s-exclusive take on the concept in “Pink Snakeskin.”
In contrast to the previous edition unveiled at the very top of November, this colorway makes rather subdued use of the spotlight fabric, pasting it on the Swoosh and lower eyestay panel. If not for those pieces of wild detailing, this would read as a rather down the middle Air Max 90. Rosy hues envelop the silhouette from heel to toe, highlighted by a soft pink sock-liner and matching outline around the visible Air bubble.
Beaverton has already tipped off some of the more high-profile pairs that they have queued up for the “Year of the Snake,” but this adds to a growing crop of mainline offerings set to embrace the idea in more low-key fashion. The Nike Air Max 90 “Pink Snakeskin” is expected to materialize for Spring 2025, likely carrying a premium on the typical $140 MSRP.
