The long-standing relationship between adidas and Packer continues with yet another exploration of a forgotten classic. A journey that began years ago and later came to fruition in 2023 with the re-issue of the adidas Intimidation, the New Jersey-based retailer now focuses on its even-more obscure counterpart – the Intimidation Low.
Part of the brand’s storied EQT line of 1999, the adidas Intimidation Low was a running shoe that really looked like an all-purpose trainer more than anything. Packer’s revival of the model did not feature the original tooling, but rather that of the adidas KB3 — one that was later used readily on the Yeezy 500 model.
Packer’s interpretation of the Intimidation Low sees the same KB3 tooling, but with a slightly reworked upper that removes the three stripes on the underlay. The colorways are very on-brand for the retailer; dark, Fall-friendly hues with a strong focus on lifestyle instead of performance.
Two colorways have been revealed; one with a black sole and dark blue/grey gradient upper beneath a black TPU cage, and a second with a white midsole, blue-fade base, and a light blue/grey cage.
While firm release date information and pricing have yet to be disclosed, expected Packer to make that announcement in the coming weeks.
