Andrew Rizzo As many anticipated upon the model’s debut back in March, the Air Max Dn has gone about its first year on shelves by mixing in a handful of colorways inspired by established looks, pulling mostly from the Air Max Plus and Air Max 97. In similar vein, this latest pair takes a page from the Jordan Brand playbook with a timeless combination of black and red.
Eyes are first drawn to the upper, where high-contrast red on black silicone detailing heightens focus on the shape of the shoe. Pressing forward with a familiar color blocking scheme, the midfoot portion of the midsole, heel structure, and Dynamic Air bubbles all come in red to match. There’s a “Vamps” comparison to be made here, but let’s stick with “Bred” for familiarity’s sake.
