Updated November 13th, 2024: @arab_lincoln just revealed our best looks at the second Up There New Balance 860v2 collaboration. While it largely confirms the arrangement seen in teaser shots, some new details come into clearer view, including a chainlink-patterned translucent panel at the quarter. Check out all the new looks included below. We’re still awaiting a firm release date, but retail remains at $170 for this pair.

Updated November 12th, 2024: Just months after unveiling their first take on the New Balance 860v2, Up There is showing they’ve still got business to settle on the silhouette.

Many of the store’s most notable faces, including creative director Jason Paparoulas (@jasonupthere) are teasing the next step in their collaborative relationship with New Balance, a far rosier take on the archival running silhouette than we saw with previous last, aquatic colorway. As we noted in our coverage of that pair, Australian flora, fauna and nature seem to be a guiding light for all of the brand’s team-up effort, evidently in the fore once again.

While silver and off-white run throughout the profile on leather overlays and a rubber midsole, breezy pastels are truly the primary focus, painting chromatic swatches at the quarter and the underlying mesh layer. In a shot shared by Paparoulas, the lace shroud that set this pair’s predecessor apart also makes a return appearance, along with the bulbed “Sure Lace.”

Release information for the Up There New Balance 860v2 is still unconfirmed, but a launch should be coming shortly given the semi-official promo effort. This pair is expected to retail at $170.
