There’s only one headline on everyone’s mind when we discuss Made in USA: the New Balance 990v7. Yet as we’ve noted plenty since the Boston brand began to roll out the red carpet for its new icon, elsewhere in the catalog, they’re keeping on keeping on. The New Balance Made in USA Fall/Winter 2026 slate is charging ahead as planned even as the models included meet a new sibling, and the New Balance 993 “Shadow Blue” is the next one to look forward to.

The New Balance 992 has been the major beneficiary of Teddy Santis’ latest capsule, chalking off three individual colorways as the season develops. This marks the sole inclusion of the fan-favorite New Balance 993, but it’s an impactful one all the same. Santis’ efforts as a whole have been notable for pushing beyond the neutrally toned home base that New Balance has lived in throughout its brand history. This “Shadow Blue” inclusion does a great job of threading the needle between fully vibrant and entirely earthy. Subtle pops of brown on the laces and branching overlays pair with teal suede and mesh for an unexpected color-blocking scheme that’s fit for the colder months.
