Don’t take it lightly when we say this — this might be the most expansive week of releases we’ve had yet. Nike in particular is flooding the market with goodies, but brands all across the landscape are ensuring you’re not short of options as the Holiday shopping season really kicks into high gear.
To begin with Beaverton’s most notable offerings, they’re notching several splashy collaborations; the Who Decides War Flight Court, Lil Yachty Air Force 1, Fragment Spiridon, Swarovski Air Max Plus, Kobe Air Force 1 and Wizard of Oz SB Dunk all make their debut. Swapping over to the Jumpman, they’re tripling up on their weekly deliveries, with the Jordan 12 “Phantom,” Jordan 4 “Net” and Jordan 5 “Reverse Metallic” all arriving just a few days apart. Finally, the Swoosh notches some attention-grabbing GR fare as well, with the return of the Copper Foams and another new edition of the Air Max Waffle Racer stealing the show in the regard.
Of course, Nike isn’t the only imprint set to make a strong impression in the opening days of December. Converse makes headlines by closing out the “While You Were Sleeping” collection, as the A Ma Maniere Converse Weapon lands mid-week. Under Armour’s Curry Brand mints the first genuine offering of its empire with the Fox 1’s debut, ushering in a festive “Happy Fox Day” colorway. Last but not least, PUMA and adidas get on the board with the MB.04 Phoenix and the long-awaited next step in the Jerry Lorenzo legacy, the Fear of God Athletics Basketball II.
Especially in this mega-sized edition, the above summary won’t give you the total scope of what this week has to offer.
