The New Balance 2002R “Bright Sky” Is Available Now

The New Balance 2002R may have stumbled from its position atop the NB catalog in favor of the New Balance 1906R and New Balance 9060, but few models on the market have its persisting lifestyle appeal. The silo is poised to remain in the fore as we stare down the new calendar year. A fresh “Bright Sky” edition just hit the brand’s sight, livening up the catalog as we look ahead to Spring 2025.

The titular cerulean shade is utilized in heavy doses on this shoe, emphasizing the mixed media build of the shoe by draping the leather tongue, mesh underpinnings nad suede overlays in between. While the ABZORB, N-ergy and Stability Web sole unit is intact underfoot, note that there is a bit of a hardware divergence here, with the mesh layers up top widening out a bit for an extra dose of retro sensibility.

As mentioned throughout this piece, the New Balance 2002R “Bright Sky” is available now via NewBalance.com, retailing at $150 in men’s sizing. Hit the links included under “Where To Buy” to land directly on the product page.
