JJJJound’s “Made In Japan” adidas Superstar Emerges In Black

Releasing February 1st, 2025.

JJJJound’s “Made In Japan” adidas Superstar Emerges In Black

JJJJound’s newly minted partnership with adidas is continuing to focus on the Three Stripes’ most popular models. Following a set of “Made In Germany” Sambas for Spring 2024, the Montreal design studio’s next contemporary touch-ups are landing on the Superstar 90 silhouette. A white colorway began trickling out to boutiques earlier this year, and we’re now hit with official images of a black pair for early 2025.

Consistent with JJJJound’s reputation, the shoe comes as more an elevated GR than deep storytelling dive. Official images reveal a premium “Made In Japan” black leather base with white stripes, complemented by tan interior lining for a bit of added sophistication. The tongue and backtab deliver some addition by subtraction by dropping the model’s traditional Trefoil logos, while gold “JJJJound” text replaces “Superstar” lettering along the stripes.

Currently, the black JJJJound x adidas Superstar 90 “Made In Japan” is slated to release February 1st, 2025 via JJJJound and select boutiques, retailing for $250. Scroll through the gallery below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
