The Nike Air Max Plus Goes Golfing In Its Iconic “Sunset” Colorway

Another new colorway for Spring 2025.

The Nike Air Max Plus Goes Golfing In Its Iconic “Sunset” Colorway

Sean McDowell’s Air Max Plus is the latest Nike shoe to get re-tooled for the greens, providing yet another instance of Nike Inc. injecting some welcome energy into the golf footwear scene. Hot off the heels of simple black and white looks, the iconic and original “Sunset” colorway has emerged on the new Air Max Plus Golf for Spring 2025.

Sneakerheads need little overview regarding the color blocking at play, but there are some notable texture swaps and tooling changes worth calling out. Consistent with the aforementioned black and gold colorways, the latest Air Max Plus Golf features leather as opposed to mesh across the base. The mudguard and backtab are both taken in pebbled black leather to match, while the top segment of the tongue delivers a subtle instance of suede. The shoe’s one main golf alteration enters the fray underfoot, where a grippy, no-spike outsole replaces that of the circa. 1998 model.

Nike hasn’t set a release date as this stage, but the Air Max Plus Golf “Sunset” is expected to touch down Spring 2025 for a retail price of $185. In the meantime, enjoy official images below.
