The superstar reps Dallas once again for Spring '25.

Luka Doncic Sticks To The Homefront With The Jordan Luka 3 “Mavericks”

In an era where professional basketball is defining by player movement, often feeling like each successive season the league’s landscape gets shaken up more than the last, we’ve got to cherish the homegrown, homebound starts more than ever. Though Wonder Boy still has most of his illustrious career ahead of him, he’s on a shortlist of candidates to enter the canon of the Tim Duncan’s, Steph Curry’s and Dirk Nowitzki’s if he sticks with the Mavericks for the long haul. Doncic is nodding to the only NBA city he’s ever called home with the Jordan Luka 3 “Mavericks.”

Though the palette of black, white and blue is a pretty traditional adaptation of the Dallas club’s trademark tones, this shoe presents almost a middle ground between the typical “Home” and “Away” colorways seen throughout the basketball shoes market. The outer shroud and inner bulk of the shoe are thus clad in a yin-yang arrangement, the jet black portions executing some noticeable carbon fiber-like texture. Add that to the checkerboard arrangement smack in the midsole and you’ve got a shoe where there’s a lot more than meets the eye — perhaps a selling point for those with a keen eye or a cherry on top for those in the market for some fresh Mavericks gear.

As a true general release, the Jordan Luka 3 “Mavericks” doesn’t have a concrete release date. In lieu of that, expect this pair hitting Nike.com and local shelves in the coming weeks, retailing for the typical $130. Catch official images ahead and keep watch on our Jordan Release Dates to be the first to know when this shoe hits the market.
