We’re truly in the home stretch now, and while most brands’ most signficant releases of the year are in the rear view by now, there’s still some notable pairs on the horizon.
Easily the crown jewel of this week’s slate is the Nike SB Dunk Low “Wizard of Oz,” landing a sequel to a mid 2010s pair with some official film ties. For the hoopers, you can still find something under the tree when the Nike Basketball “Christmas” slate lands the day after the holiday itself, uniting LeBron, KD and Giannis’ signature shoes with some festive flair.
Rounding out what the Swoosh is offering up is the Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder in its orange colorway, closing out a prolonged release cadence with a wide SNKRS release on December 27th. Not to be left out, there are of course some brands outside of Beaverton making a splash — two collabs in the Squid Game x PUMA Palermo and Bleach x ASICS duo highlight what to look forward to.
While we usually say that the above doesn’t fully encapsulate what’s on offer, a leaner schedule in the final full week of 2024 makes that untrue this time around. However, to brush up on how each of these shoes look and get direct links to our release breakdowns, including comprehensive analysis and direct shopping links, you’ll need to peruse the list below. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates and Jordan Release Dates pages for any late-breaking updates — and most importantly, happy holidays!
