Lacelocks Have Made A Sudden Appearance On The Air Jordan 1 Low

With how many off-the-wall looks we’ve seen on the Air Jordan 1 Low, it’s hard for any successive colorway to stand out from the pack. However, the most recent to emerge certainly has our attention, sporting vibrant coloring and a rare appearance of included lace locks.

The extra accessory should be familiar for Jordan enthusiasts at large, borrowing from the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 5 (albeit minus the larger TPU inset that comes with the latter.) It’s not the first time it’s marked Mike’s first signature, but isn’t typically associated with the model either. Its fiery red tonality here matches the outsole, while the upper opts for something of a mismatch theme, swapping from “Brave Blue” on the lateral side Swoosh to jet black on the medial. Finally, though those animated touches make for a playful overall profile, a dose of pure white leather elsewhere keeps these in easily-worn territory.

This Air Jordan 1 Low is expected to hit shelves early into 2025, carrying a $125 retail price. Keep our Jordan Release Dates page handy for additional updates — otherwise, enjoy official images included below.
