Matt Varga One of the first major occasions, sneaker or otherwise, that’ll we’ll chalk off in 2025 is the “Year of the Snake.” With Jordan Brand’s contributions already well-reported, the Three Stripes is now pulling the curtain back on their efforts, with new detailed shots of a sprawling capsule now emerging.
If you’ve been tapped into our coverage, this won’t be your first time catching the adidas AE 1 Low or Harden Vol. 9 featured here. Each adapting the spotlighted material in opposing fashion, James’ shoe actually marked the first official release of his new signature, though for now it’s expected to remain a China-exclusive.
Three new entrants also crash in for this collection, including the adidas Intimidation Low first released during the “Feet You Wear” days of the late 90s/early 2000s. Beginning to usher in another retro run with the help of Packer Shoes, the eccentric silhouette adopts a jade and black colorway for this capsule. From there, the Forum 2000 opts for a lifestyle palette, tapping the scaley material for its Three Stripes branding at the quarter and under the heel. Finally, the Crazy 8 Low may be the best embrace of the holiday in totality, blending in its upper realistic neutral snakeskin patches and prosperous red swatches.
Alongside each of these pairs, an apparel collection mirroring many of the colorways shown here will also release,mirroring many of the colorways featured here with some vectorized branding sporting a slew of serpentine iconography. Hoodies, bomber jackets, flared sweatpants and ringer tees are among the goodies on offer.
