The New Balance 9060 will assuredly maintain its status as a premier lifestyle shoe for another year running, and a murdered-out “Black Cat” edition is the perfect way to start things off.
Though this shoe likely isn’t drawing direct inspiration from the Boston brand’s competition, the prevalence of nocturnal shoes that’s continuing with the Black Cat 3s and Black Cat 4s makes this a shrewd, trendy play on NB’s part. It’s hard to mess up an outfit like this where jet black takes over the shoe nearly heel-to-toe. Still, the silhouette’s composition assists in keeping this application interesting, from it the reflective underpinnings at the quarter or select translucent hits on the sculpted midsole and tongue.
Expect the New Balance 9060 “Black Cat” landing on NewBalance.com and partnering retailers as we get into the Spring 2025 slate. The usual $150 retail price is all but confirmed.
