It’s understandable to be on edge around someone wearing a pair of black Air Force 1s, but Nike’s alerting you to safety with this particular pair for Spring 2025.
Not all black AF1s are created equal, because this version makes use of a soothing Cool Grey shade on the Swoosh, heel-tab, and tongue logo. It signals a sense of calm, creating a much-needed contrast from the true all-black joints that have become associated with do-no-goodery.
However, given how the base construction of the sneaker is indeed that of the “shiesty” Force 1s, you’re not entirely in the clear. From top of the tongue piping down to the bottoms of the shoes, these are black Air Force 1s to its core.
These are not a Premium trim, so expect just the standard synthetic leather with this Air Force 1. It’ll still cost you $115 once it hits Nike.com later this Spring 2025 season.
