The Iconic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” Gets Transformed Into A Slip-On Golf Mule

The Air Jordan 1 can’t properly celebrate its 40th anniversary without at least a few “Chicago” releases. While the return of 2016’s Chicago Jordan 1 Low OG this upcoming holiday season looks to be the belle of the ball, the first “Chicago” AJ1 of the year comes to us as a golf mule on January 17th.

The Jordan 1 Golf Mule debuted in early 2024 by way of a “Bred” colorway and has since surfaced in additional original looks like “Shadow” and “Royal” (as well as other established, non-OG AJ1 colorways). This “Chicago” edition comes as a natural continuation of that trend, outfitted with a white leather base, black Swoosh and sock liner, and “Varsity Red” on the overlays. As with every model in the Jordan 1 Golf family, the traditional outsole is dropped in favor of grass-worthy no-spike tread underfoot.

Winter is now in full swing in our part of the world, but if you’re interested in stashing a pair for warm weather, mark your calendar for a January 17th release via nike.com.
