Original article published January 27th, 2025: Though it’s since taken a backseat to the broader “opening the vault” initiative in Beaverton, their similar “Cult Classics” program was one of the more underrated storylines in 2024, bringing back in-line releases of note that often hadn’t seen the shelves for more than a decade. For Air Force 1 enthusiasts, a retro of the “Linen” was extremely well-met, replacing the need to roll the dice on a 23-year-old shoe or pay high grey market prices for the KITH reissue.

With the Air Force 1 “Linen” now firmly back in the consciousness, the Swoosh reiterates it with a linen build set to land soon.  The original shoe already boasts vacation-ready overtones via its relaxed beige base and tropical pink crashing on top. Refitting the “Linen” Air Force 1 Low with this canvas hardware was perhaps only natural. For the purists, rest easy knowing that the color-blocking remains unchanged from what you know and love, now modded to take into the warmer months ahead.

The Air Force 1 “Linen Linen” is set to drop via Nike channels in the coming weeks, but select global outlets like Mexico’s Alive Premium Store are already stocking the shoe. Anticipate a $130 (or equivalent) retail price wherever you come across them. We’ll keep you updated with further stateside drop info via our Sneaker Release Dates page.
