LaMelo Ball’s PUMA LaFrance Continues Its Run In Metallic Silver

Repeating branding appears on the laces.

LaMelo Ball’s PUMA LaFrance Continues Its Run In Metallic Silver

Many people in the NBA universe were shocked that LaMelo Ball wasn’t selected for the 2025 All-Star Game, especially since he won the fan vote and is currently having his best scoring year to date. There’s still a slim possibility that he’ll be selected as an injury replacement, but all indications suggest that LaMelo won’t be lacing up in San Fransisco this weekend. He’ll be enjoying some time off the court instead, and he’ll likely be doing so in his PUMA LaFrance signature lifestyle shoe.

This newly-uncovered metallic silver colorway is the latest by the Charlotte Hornets star, taken with shimmery leather uppers and repeating “LaFrance” text on the laces. It’s been said time and time again (and echoed by our IG comments), but the LaFrance mimics Osiris and Lanvin aesthetics with its chunky build and rounded ovals. The LaFrance might not be the most original design out there, but it’s been warmly embraced by LaMelo fans and younger, fashion-forward consumers alike (with a lot of crossover).

The PUMA LaFrance “Silver” will release on March 12th in men’s sizing ($120). We’ll update this article and send out a post on X once pairs become available online.

In related news, the PUMA MB.04 continues to surface in new colorways.
