Nike Is Sending You On An Adventure To Cop The Tomb Raider Air Max 1 Low Poly

The quest begins on February 26th.

Getting your hands on a pair of Nike’s next Air Max 1 Low Poly release will require a little bit of legwork. Ostensibly inspired by the Tomb Raider gaming franchise, this Air Max 1 Low Poly “Adventure” will be the reward for a quest that .SWOOSH users must compete beginning February 26th.

Officially beginning on 2/24 at 10 AM PST, Nike will launch a digital adventure on www.swoosh.nike where you’ll be met with three puzzles to solve. If answered correctly, you’ll unlock the opportunity to purchase the Air Max 1 Low Poly “Adventure” on SNKRS on 2/26.

This new colorway of Nike’s retro-gaming themed Air Max 1 features a Cannon green mudguard and Swoosh with Neutral Grey and White finishing out the upper. Gum brown soles add a bit of that explorer aesthetic loosely themed after Lara Croft’s OG outfit. Nike’s .SWOOSH team also adds a message on the insole reading “Forward, Black, Left 3 Times, Backwards Jump”; this alludes to cheat codes that were used during the game’s original run way back in 1996.

Another classic game-inspired Air Max 1 Low Poly emerged recently; inspired by Donkey Kong Country, the Air Max 1 “Big Head Origins” features the same Low Poly graphics construction, but with some additional details on the insole. Nike has confirmed that the release is actually not a .SWOOSH branded project.

Again, the Air Max 1 Low Poly “Adventure” drop begins on 2/24 at 10 AM PST on www.swoosh.nike. Sizes 3.5 through 18 will be available for $150.
