His latest is easily his most prolific, tipping off half a dozen looks of his signature. To a man, each leans into the eye-catching atmosphere that’s defined the silhouette so far, with the most attention-grabbing in that regard being a “Polka Dot” pair that splits the shoe into zones of green, pink, yellow, blue, and purple, with the motif appearing on the laces and heel cup.
From there, we get a duo of looks that carries the “mismatched” atmosphere that’s been equally defining; one dots all-black profiles with opposing purple and green Swooshes, while another pins alternating lime green and island blue accents. To close, a tropical orange edition comes alongside a more earthy edition, seemingly inspired by Morant’s love for Rush Hour 3. Famously, the superstar point guard posted a clip of Chris Tucker in response to the Grizzlies drafting Zach Edey, reflected with “Damn!” and “Woah!” detailing on the heel of this pair.
In his previous personal “leaks,” we’ve speculated whether the shoes will be solely player exclusives or portend public pairs. For at least one of these looks, Morant further added intrigue later on Tuesday, lacing up the orange & blue tropical edition in an overtime win against the Suns.
