Andrew Rizzo One thing’s for sure; Joe Freshgoods knows how to tease a sneaker. Following the Chicago creative’s “Aged Well” New Balance 992, which commemorated his journey with the Boston sneaker giant, we’re continuing to get glimpses at the next JFG x New Balance project.
A new Instagram post shows a small portion of a green Joe Freshgoods New Balance 992 supposedly releasing in 2025, placed right behind his “Aged Well” collab. Tracking back a bit further, the same 992 was spotted in a full JFG x New Balance catalog pic posted in early February. The older image shows green suede overlays, brown mesh, and what appears to be a custom tongue tag.
We’ll get into a full breakdown once official images surface, but it remains to be seen when that will be. Importantly, every Joe Freshgoods collab comes with a story that gives reason to all the design choices.
