Andrew Rizzo Through JJJJound collaborations and in-house releases, the New Balance 2002R has grown a new branch through a variety of GORE-TEX styles in recent years. Now right on time for the rainy months, the Boston brand is set to release a no-frills black/white colorway in the near future.
Official images reveal a black mesh base, grey leather underlays, and black suede over the toe, quarter, and heel. Contrasting pops of white appear on the quarter “N” and heel window, the latter of which features the GORE-TEX logo. Spring weather generally calls for light sneakers, but to a considerable body of sneakerheads, all-black footwear is always in fashion.
