With the Nike Shox TL comfortably settling into the Swoosh mainline, we’ve been able to more accurately track what Beaverton designers believe to be the model’s strengths. An aesthetic that they’ve increasingly trotted the Y2K silhouette with is ombre editions, bolstered with the stealthy “Electric Green” pair at hand.
Even if there’s recent peers for this colorway, notably most of them have touched sprightlier palettes (see the sweet/sunrise/oceanic ones that preceded this shoe). That history makes this dusky pair stand out from the crowd, easily the darkest to wear gradient coloring to date. The “Electric Green” tonality that coats the overlays and dots the heel almost appears vein-like, resulting in a futuristic, dare we say xenmorphic overall profile.
