The Nike Air Max 95 won’t be slowing down following its big 30th anniversary year. In addition to an “Olympic” Air Max 95 retro, we’re learning that the model’s original “Grape” colorway for women will also enter the big bubble category in 2026.

The sneaker has returned a handful of times since its 1995 debut, most recently in 2018. Nike has also released several spinoff styles over the years, including “Snakeskin Grape” 95s and other looks featuring darker elements like black midsoles. As it pertains to the 2026 retro, the big question will be what the shading looks like. Previous “Grape” Air Max 95 retros from 2011 and 2005 featured light grey suede panels up top, but the 2018 edition (pictured below) was somewhat darker by comparison.

As for the rest of the design, the “Grape” Air Max 95 oozes 1990s nostalgia with “Court Purple” and “Emerald Green” accents. The former color appears on the tongue, eyelets, and Swoosh logos, while the latter appears notably within the Air bubbles. Just like the “Neon” Air Max 95, the impending “Grape” retro will do its best possible OG colorway impression with a larger, seamed big bubble Air unit.

The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Grape” doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as that changes. The sneaker will be available exclusively in women’s sizes for a price tag of $180. Enjoy official images of the 2018 release below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
