Andrew Rizzo KITH is celebrating the re-opening of its Manhattan location with a collaboration on the New Balance 2010, but that’s not all Ronnie Fieg has cooking. In a new Instagram post communicating details about tomorrow’s events, the KITH founder has given us our first look at a New Balance 993 that might drop in the very near future.
With the New York Knicks on the cusp of their first Eastern Conference Finals since 2000, there’s no better time for another Knicks-themed KITH x New Balance collab. The 993 teaser image shows a blue mesh base, orange New Balance logos, and blue laces featuring white specks, not to mention blue co-branding on the tongue and heel. White leather underlays appear around the forefoot and collar sections, while the rest of the upper dolls up in navy blue suede. Underfoot, an all-black midsole rounds out the design.
To the uninitiated; Ronnie Fieg is the Creative Director of the Knicks and has designed the team’s City Edition uniforms since 2020-21. A handful of Knicks-inspired KITH x New Balance collabs have released since Ronnie joined the Knicks fabric, namely a New Balance 990v6 in 2023 and New Balance 991v2 in 2024.
It remains to be seen when the next KITH x New Balance 993 will release, or even be officially announced for that matter, but we’re expecting something to take shape soon. If you’re one to speculate, the new KITH store in Manhattan opens to the public tomorrow, May 16th. Moreover, if the Knicks dispose of the Boston Celtics, they’ll be in action against the Indiana Pacers next week at Madison Square Garden. Might Ronnie be courtside in his New Balance 993s? We’re surely hoping so.
