Damian Lillard’s adidas Dame X Goes Full Bucks Mode

A tragedy for all basketball fans, Damian Lillard now faces a long road back to NBA action. However, his legacy and prowess will live on in the interim via his signature line, continuing a recent spate of standouts with his latest, the Dame X. His newfound Midwest digs are on full display with its latest edition, the Dame X “Bucks.”

Showcasing the wider color-blocking opportunities that the model affords, a foundation of engineered mesh appears in “Cream City” off-white, while the glossy layers above it take to black. A wrap-around ice blue sole nods to his squad’s alternate unis, as does the Dame logo in light blue, while a pine green fabric liner closes things out with a flash of the primary team color. For those who haven’t caught our previous coverage of the model, we’ll remind that Lightstrike cushioning remains the foremost tech aspect of the silhouette, while the TPU “Three Stripes” on the sidewalls provides sturdy zonal support.

Continued looks at and info about the model further cast its status as the brand’s price conscious model, something that Lillard already explored with the EXPTLY spin-offs of previous editions. Factoring in the other signature shoes Three Stripes’ Hoops has in store, it creates a sensible price ladder to hit much of the usual price tiers: this model is the most accessible, the DON Issue 7 and adidas AE2 checking in around $120/$130, and the Harden Vol. 9 presents the most premium option at $160.

Expect the adidas Dame X t hit shelves during the Fall 2025 season, spanning from July to September. Retail remains at $90.
