Matt Varga atmos’ 25th-anniversary celebration has been a steady heartbeat throughout 2025, letting loose a genuine spree of collaborations that’s seen the Japanese imprint reach back through their deep register of collaborators. Unquestionably, their most frequent partner in recent times has been adidas, so as the Three Stripes pushes a new silhouette to the fore, atmos is right there with them, unveiling a new link-up on the Predator Megaride.
Blending the suddenly trendy aesthetics of on-pitch performance wear with the chunky propulsion that the Megaride series introduced in the 2000s, the silhouette is thus an answer to multiple dueling footwear waves. Given atmos’ founding at the turn of the century, they’re well acquainted with the retro aesthetics of the Predator Megaride, so their take on the silhouette leans respectful rather than experimental.
A primarily black and silver body meets aquatic “Blue Spirit” accents, a side of the color wheel that’s defined their recent output, most notable with the extended tongue. On its interior, cursive commemorative script nods to the occasion, a closing flourish that adds a sophisticated hint in the margins.
