adidas D.O.N. Issue 7 “Lucid Pink” Releases On July 12th

A budding signature colorway returns.

adidas D.O.N. Issue 7 “Lucid Pink” Releases On July 12th

There’s no doubt that the 2024-25 NBA season didn’t pan out exactly how Donovan Mitchell and his Cleveland Cavaliers would’ve hoped. Nonetheless, having the Coach of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year means that the future is bright all the same. For their leader and six-time NBA All-Star, the same can certainly be said when it comes to footwear, as the modernized design language that adidas Basketball has embraced with recent models has made Spida’s latest among his best recieved. The DON Issue 7 now looks to its earnest debut, set to tip off in the “Lucid Pink” at hand on July 12th.

Official images of this debut look follow our first look at the silhouette around All-Star Weekend, surfacing in the exact same colorway featured today. The DON Issue 7 embraces a soft fabric interior the same way many of its peers in the catalog do, yet a TPU midfoot shank and Lightstrike Pro cushioning in the midsole ensure that its on-court bonafides can back up the aesthetics. Visually, the gradient treatment that wraps the shoe from the upper to the midsole allows that sleek overall build to shine all the more. It’s also a tacit link back to the D.O.N. Issue #6 “Camp,” obviously spinning things off in a stealthier direction but nonetheless using the same multicolor blend of neon pink, green, and yellow.

Again, the adidas D.O.N. Issue 7 “Lucid Pink” is already queued up via adidas for a July 12th release, checking in with a $120 sticker price.
