The Iconic “Stormtrooper” Look Hits The adidas Dame X

A classic "Stormtrooper" look appears.

The Iconic “Stormtrooper” Look Hits The adidas Dame X

It’s truly unfortunate that we may never see Damian Lillard play in the adidas Dame X. Unless the stripes plans to delay the future rollout of the Top 75er’s shoe line, it appears that Lillard won’t see action until the 2026-2027 season due to his injury — one that has not been kind to athletes in the later stages of their careers.

Still, fans of Dame and adidas Hoops will get to hit open runs and workouts in the new signature model, a silhouette that comes in at a whopping $90. Signature models tend to break the $100 barrier, but adi has taken measures to provide top-level performance qualities at a more accessible price-point. For $90, it’s hard not to give these a run.

With the adidas Dame X set to make its retail debut in late June, we’re beginning to uncover more colorways that are planned throughout the approximately year-long life cycle of the shoe. This “Zero Metallic” colorway achieves that all-too-attractive “Stormtrooper” aesthetic, but with hits of green on the Dame logo on the tongue and the Performance badge at the heel.

A firm release date for this Dame 10 colorway hasn’t been revealed just yet, but expect it this Fall ’25 for $90.
