“Tuned Air” Spell-Out Text Is In Focus For The Nike Air Max

The fourth such look to hit the wire.

“Tuned Air” Spell-Out Text Is In Focus For The Nike Air Max

We’re well-accustomed to unexpected Air Max offshoots or retros hitting the newswire, but seemingly a growing trend in 2025 is limited inline colorway themes, best explicated with the Nike Air Max 95 “Racing” pack that attracted attention towards the top of the year. The Nike Air Max Plus, not to be outdone, is getting in on the action with continually emerging “Tuned Air” looks, now executed in a steely “Wolf Grey/Racer Blue.”

So far seen in three previous pairs, the text graphic aesthetic is only gaining steam as the months go on. Part an acknowledgment of the technology that brought the silhouette notoriety upon introduction and partially a nod to its overseas “Tn” moniker, the phrase plays out in two parts with an inner/outer split across both shoes. Trail-inspired pull closures add an extra piece of intrigue, while aesthetically, a neutral grey body and royal blue trim, including the laces and Air bubbles, make for a sensible palette.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Tuned Air” in “Wolf Grey/Racer Blue” should be part of the brand’s Summer/Fall selection, retailing for $180 upon arrival. Keep a bead on this pair via our Sneaker Release Dates page, or enjoy official images included below.
