Seemingly more than ever, adidas has something for everyone. The brand is once again a leader in the basketball world via silhouettes like the AE1 or Harden Vol. 9, embracing trendy soccer styles with their caged cleats or the Predator Megaride, and hitting the low-pro wave alongside Wales Bonner and Willy Chavarria. At the center of their empire, however, is still the adidas Samba, fittingly taking on a “Core Black/Lucid Pink” split.

It’s a slight switch to the model’s default white/black/gum blend, yet one that’s obviously made more impactful by the sheer brightness of the accent shade at play. “Lucid Pink” makes for a natural choice on this women’s edition, coating the heel cup and Three Stripes branding at the quarter, while the everlasting gum sole underfoot balances that hi-vis shade with some grounded tonality.
