Cooper Flagg And New Balance Celebrate Flagg Day Ahead Of NBA Draft

Barring any massive trades or diversions, Cooper Flagg will become a Dallas Maverick when he goes #1 overall in the NBA Draft on June 25th. With that date on the horizon, New Balance is marking Flagg’s NIL to professional transition with a special “Flagg Day” apparel capsule.

As a potential generational talent, Flagg could very well be considered the face of New Balance basketball upon entering the league. That might seem like a bold claim considering New Balance has stars like Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, and Tyrese Maxey in its corner, but Flagg became a household name even before solidifying his promise at Duke. He’s already featured heavily in New Balance commercials, and while technically not yet confirmed, a signature Cooper Flagg shoe is almost certainly coming later on. For now, special apparel capsules (and eventual PE sneakers) mark the first step in the direction.

The “Flagg Day” apparel consists of special-edition “Made In USA” garments, including ribbed crewneck sweatshirts and t-shirts. Both feature screen-printed “Flagg Day” text in New Balance’s signature font and will be available in grey, blue, and white colorways, aptly matching Duke and Dallas Mavericks team colors.

The “Flagg Day” crewneck ($155) and t-shirt ($75) release at midnight on June 23rd via New Balance; TAP HERE to shop the collection.
