Andrew Rizzo The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 is handily the most high-anticipated second signature basketball model in recent memory, and for good reason. The Three Stripes struck gold with Ant’s first signature – a consensus SOTY pick in 2024 – due in no small part to clever marketing and the sheer likability of the Timberwolves star himself. As we patiently wait for the AE2 rollout to begin later this year, we’re starting to learn of release dates for some of the colorways we’ve been tracking thus far. This “Lucid Pink” edition is confirmed for a January 17th, 2026 drop in men’s sizes.
This isn’t our first look at the Anthony Edwards 2, nor is it our first time seeing this “Lucid Pink” colorway. The gallery below does, however, contain the most detailed images we’ve seen to date. Clear shots of the heel and top-down view are included, the former of which reveals black carbon fiber placements on both sides. As of this writing, the only thing we’re missing is a full picture of the outsole.
