Regardless of which Nike Air Max model rules the moment (that’s the Air Max 95 this year), Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90 will always be etched into the Mount Rushmore of the category’s best silhouettes. Following a two-part “Waves” capsule by Patta, the model is resuming its business as usual with a “Blue Lightning” GR for Fall 2025.

The color blocking takes after the “Infrared” 90s among other adjacent looks, although the mudguard, upper eyestay, and heel text are more washed-out in “Wolf Grey” as opposed to black. You might be reminded of the “Laser Blue” Air Max 90 – an original colorway that last released in 2020 – but that sneaker differs with a white leather quarter. Regardless, these come in as a simple GR with ample wearability for the warmer months.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Platinum Tint/Blue Lightning/Wolf Grey” should hit nike.com and retailers soon for $135; see official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming Air Max.
