Stash these for fall/winter.

The New Balance 1000 Keeps It Lowkey In “Black/Grey”

The New Balance 1000 remains a fixture of the Boston brand’s lifestyle portfolio, continuing to drudge up new colorways (and even some mold-breaking styles) as we delve deeper into the summer months. While flashy colorways have played a big role in the retro runner’s comeback stint, we’ve also been introduced to plenty of lowkey, more understated options. If that’s you’re vibe, this upcoming black and grey colorway is one to look out for.

Revisiting a familiar split color blocking formula, the shoe’s mesh underlays, tongue, and upper leather panels all keep it simple in black. The joined toe, mudguard, and heel areas opt for what appears to be grey nubuck material, while a white/midsole and black/grey outsole conclude a rather unassuming pair.

The New Balance 1000 “Black/Grey” retails for $150 and is expected to release Fall 2025, meaning sometime before September. See official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming New Balance.
