Original article published July 28th, 2025:

Cordura is ready to lend its mega-durable nylons to another Nike Sportswear silhouette. Landing at retailers this Holiday 2025 season, the Air Max Sunder Cordura enters the fray as another go-to option for the tougher climates.

Renowned for its ability to stand the test of tricky conditions, Cordura’s RE/COR is made with reclaimed post-industrial waste materials that have been recycled into high-quality yarns. These are woven into a sturdy material that now lines the upper, replacing the softer and more delicate neoprenes that are the standard for the late 1990s era athletic model.

Its entry into the field isn’t a subtle one either, as Nike adds a graffiti-liked pattern sprayed onto the material, while the armored mudguard boasts a splatter-like pattern that reads more like a patina on an aged surface.

This Air Max Sunder Cordura is slated to drop this Holiday 2025 season with a higher MSRP than the usual $180 for the model. Stay tuned for an official look and release details and enjoy the official retailer images ahead.
