Sneaker News Pharrell’s first-ever entry into adidas Running began with a bang as the collaborative silhouette took the Olympic stage during the torch-lighting ceremony. But with a sparse 80 units available at a price-point dictating its scarcity, the Pharrell x EVO Pro 1 was as elusive as it was impressive.
Enter the AdiZero EVO SL, the brand’s far more approachable running silhouette that is currently touted as one of the consistent hits in its price category. With its Lightstrike Pro cushioning and sharp design, the EVO SL has been one for the German history books as it has gained global appeal like none before. There are “no notes” as Pharrell would put it. but the music/fashion/culture pace-setter is still lending his hand at the silhouette, bringing those signature strikes of green, royal blue, and earth brown to the silhouette in two styles this Fall.
The EVO SL by Pharrell will be offered in two colorways options; there’s the clean white option that extends from the first EVO Pro 1, and an alternate black for a sharper, sleeker appeal. This commences the collaborative era of the running silhouette as more drops are planned for the future.
Currently, both pairs are available right now on Humanrace.com for $160, while an official release date for adidas.com is marked for September 13th.
