The Air Max Plus is rolling on as one of Nike’s most populous offerings, a defining factor in every seasonal catalog for genuinely years. While the start of Fall may make more vibrant choices an unpopular choice in short order, Sean McDowell’s design is answering with something of down-the-middle approach.

Taking each piece individually, you can make a convincing argument that this is almost an adaptation of the iconic “Neon” that’s been in the zeitgeist throughout 2025. A gray graident works across the upper, the overwhelming toanlity on this shoe save for pops of neon green on the Swooshes and Air Bubbles. Those grounded overtones should make these a fit for the colder months ahead, with a link back to vibrancy and overall sportiness with those trademark hi-vis hits.
