The Nike Air Max 1 Marches On In Its Golf Turn

Doesn’t it feel like everyone you know is getting into golf? Or maybe you’re the catalyst for those thoughts in other’s deads. Ragardless, even Nike isn’t immune to the charms of teh worlds’ fastest growing sport, retooling a number of its most vaunted designs to better befit the green in the past few years.

As the Swoosh has carved out a larger footprint and deeper catalog of those cleated retakes, the Nike Air Max 1 has surfaced as the silhouette it’s most willing to bring to the green. That’s both with link-ups alongside Eastside Golf and mainline editions, often maintaining the same color blocking and design language seen on regular GR pairs. That remains the case with the “Wolf Grey/Obsidian” split at hand, flipping the “Sport Blue” style layout with navy accents and a neutral base. And yes, if you’d like to double check its performance bonafides, look underneath; extended lugs in the outsole ensure that it’ll hold up to however many rounds you deploy it for.

The Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Obsidian” will retail for $155 upon arrival, expected to touch down as a part of the Fall/Winter ’25 ongoings.
