Women's sizes release in September.

adidas Prepares For Día de Muertos With A “Bread Of The Dead” Campus 00s

adidas has something sweet in the oven for Día de Muertos this year. Rooted in cultural tradition, the “pan de muerto” (or “bread of the dead”) serves as the theme behind this women’s Campus 00s for women releasing in September.

To the uninitiated; the pan de muerto is a sweet bread traditionally baked in Mexico and in the lead-up to Día de Muertos (which is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd in most areas). It’s a bun flavored with orange flower water and orange zest, often with anise seeds, skulls/crosses made of extra dough to represent the deceased, and sugar that’s sometimes dyed pink.

The adidas Campus 00s here takes after the pan de muerto with a tan suede base, white stitching for the anise seeds, and pink hits on the stripes, heel, and tongue for the sugar. The heel features wavy paneling meant to look like a glaze, while the tongue comes with a custom pink Trefoil befitting of the Día de Muertos theme. This version of the Campus 00s features two tongues for extreme padding; a tan suede outer tongue and white leather tongue inside.

The adidas Campus 00s “Pan de Muerto” aka “Bread Of The Dead” releases September 2025 exclusively in women’s sizes; see official images below if these are making your wish list.
