The Minnesota guard’s first signature model was a strong Sneaker Of The Year pick in 2024, and based on how Ant’s China tour set the sneaker community ablaze, the Anthony Edwards 2 has potential to chart highly in 2025. Following an official unveiling and mini-preview of upcoming colorways, we’re starting to get official images of some additional AE2 looks releasing in 2025.
The latest Anthony Edwards 2 to hit the ‘net is this “Core Black/Zero Metallic/Lucid Red” colorway; a fairly no-frills take on the latest Anthony Edwards shoe. The color blocking heightens focus on the sneaker’s defining quality, that being a sharp, almost scorpion-esque TPU structure that molds around the heel and forefoot.
This is a true first look, but we’ll note that images of a likeminded sample made rounds online back in April. This same sort of color combination was used on the Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Stormtrooper” aka “Best of adi,” distinguished by “Lucid Red” hits on the outsole and branded elements.
When Is The Anthony Edwards 2 Releasing?
The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 debuts in the “With Love” colorway on October 4th, 2025. This “Core Black/Zero Metallic/Lucid Red” colorway releases in November in full family sizing, priced at $130 for adults. We’ll update our coverage as soon as we learn of a concrete date.
