DTLR Recognizes The New Balance 990v6 As A Cornerstone OF DMV Fashion

The DMV has staked claim on many everlasting footwear trends. Among those is the region’s embrace of New Balance and how the community helped the brand make an organic transition from running shoe to lifestyle icon, and while there will always be a debate as the true originator of the NB boom, we do know that no specific area is keeping it alive and strong like the DMV is.

DTLR has long since paid homage to New Balance as a cornerstone of street fashion. With this upcoming collaboration around the 990v6 model, that tribute comes to live with a colorful mix of neon oranges, neon greens, rich royal blues, and bright purples against a grey/black base layer. Once again, they’ve managed to weld opposing color aesthetics to create yet another banger for the community and beyond.

An official release of the DTLR x New Balance 990v6 “Cornerstone” is scheduled for September 26th, 2025 exclusively at DTLR in-store and online for $200.
