With a hopping MiniFig to boot.

Buckets And Bricks: Nike And Lego Unveil A Kids’ GT Cut 3

For collectors at large, the announcement of the Nike x LEGO partnership was seismic news. Though we’re still holding out hope that adult builders will be catered to at some point, to date the budding relationship has understandably been focused on the kids, on the “wearable” side of things, dropping off a few GS variations of the Dunk and an Air Max Dn that allowed the stackable toy to stand proud on one of Nike’s newer innovations.

If any kids in your life fall in the Venn diagram between LEGO fanatic and nascent hooper, the two partners absolutely have them in mind with their latest. Enter the LEGO x Nike GT Cut 3, again a spotlight of one of the Swoosh’s brighter “new” faces. Already a hit in pro basketball, the well-regarded model came to the younger demographic towards the top of 2024, allowing high-level tech even in the earliest stages of players’ journeys.

Whereas the Dunk Low focused on the “DIY” aspect that LEGO speaks to and the Dn functionally represented it, this GT Cut 3 takes on more abstract, playful themes, utilizing an intergalactic print in the upper, a translucent Swoosh, and motherboard-like lime green contrast to accomplish that. Of course, we also get the requisite dose of co-branding; a red LEGO stamp lives on the tongue and an iridescent MiniFig hangtag make sure of that.

The LEGO Nike GT Cut 3 is expected to hit Nike.com in October in GS and PS sizing. Retail pricing hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
