Though sadly it’s fallen by the wayside in recent years, the program gave way to some of the most instantly recognizable products out of the sub-brand. The fumes of the beloved “Skunk,” later reprised in “Reverse” fashion, now seep into the Nike Air Max 90 as it issues its own take on the same concept.
We’ll acknowledge up front that yes, the green and purple colorway isn’t one-to-one on this Air Max reprise, but the hairy suede finish across the upper makes for an instant connection to the 2010 classic. Add the forest tones utilized throughout for an adjacent colorway, developing an earthier counterpart across a brown Swoosh and light green TPU detailing for a fresh iteration on the old standard. Though assuredly the same stash pocket detailing that the SB Dunk included likely won’t appear on this GR, this is an easier way for consumers to get into the canon without the four-digit resale price.
