“Soft Pearl” Coats The Nike Dunk Low

Expected for Holiday 2025.

“Soft Pearl” Coats The Nike Dunk Low

At long last, the most recent Nike earnings call delved into a plotline we’ve been tracking for months: the Swoosh’s promise to reduce the quantity of Dunk, Air Force 1, and Jordan 1 pairs on the shelves. To quote CEO Elliot Hill himself, “the Dunk continues to be managed aggressively down in all geos.” At least from our vantage, the actual number of pairs behind the scenes may be reduced, but there continues to be a healthy range of colorway options to choose from for the enduring everyday kick.

That steady stream means that we’ve seen repeat appearances for some experimental touches, including the cross stitch on the tongue of the Nike Dunk Low “Soft Pearl.” Though it’s not an entirely new touch, seen on silhouettes like the Air Force 1, it helps bring some classic energy to the decades-old model. Carrying the torch from there are the collegiate tones of “Soft Pearl” and “Dark Pony,” continued with off-white lacing and midsoles. To stop things short of being too staid, metallic silver touches on the tongue and heel bring a more modern energy.

Look for the Nike Dunk Low “Soft Pearl” hitting Nike.com in the coming weeks, clocking in at $120.
