Nike spelled out its strategy when it announced the “Cult Classic” program, refocusing on their diehard fans and the models they held close to their heart, but maybe had been forgotten by wider audiences. Outside of kicks that went platinum on message boards, oftentimes regional specialities are the most populous group within those bounds. The Nike Air Max Goadome checks all of those boxes, now renewed for a fresh run on the shelves after being popularized in the DMV.

Originally tooled to fit the criteria of holding up to the elements, fitting like a sneaker, and being light enough to wear as a lifestyle option, the Air Max Goadome has now brought its original construction into a new era. While pony hair and furry special editions have recently alighted the timeline, the silhouetet has understandably kept to easily-worn and easily-digestible choices like the “Black/College Grey” as it makes introductions with a fresh set of consumers.
