Nike And Homerun NYC Are Making People Run For Their Air Max Plus Collab

Something special for our friends down under.

Nike And Homerun NYC Are Making People Run For Their Air Max Plus Collab

The neighborhood of Darlinghurst in Sydney, Australia, is the place to be in the streetwear world this weekend. Nike and @supplystore are hosting SURPLUS 2025 — a three-day festival featuring a stacked roster of streetwear brands, artists, musical acts, and more.

Any event involving Nike and Australia would be incomplete without the Air Max Plus. The Sean McDowell–designed silhouette is a global icon, but our friends down under have a unique affinity for the Tuned Air (or TN) — so much so that there are even shops dedicated exclusively to the model.

For SURPLUS 2025, Nike is teaming up with NYC streetwear brand Homerun for a special activation. Those who make the 6.66 km run from SUPPLY Sydney to Bondi Beach in “Triple Black” TNs will receive a free pair, supposedly the collaborative style pictured above and below. The sneaker builds on the classic all-black Air Max Plus with Homerun’s arch logo in white on the lateral side. The design itself isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s the peripherals that make it compelling.

Participation in the run is limited. Those interested must enter a raffle HERE by 10:00 AM on October 17th (Sydney time). Entrants must be available to run on Sunday, October 19th, arriving at SUPPLY no later than 7:30 AM. The poster below contains more info.
