Anthony Edwards Turns Into The “Alphadawg” With The adidas AE2

Celebrating Ant's role as the #1 option.

Anthony Edwards Turns Into The “Alphadawg” With The adidas AE2

There’s no doubt about it: Anthony Edwards did about as well as you could hope for with his first signature shoe. Much the same way he and the Timberwolves will aim to complete their coronation as West power players by winning a Conference Championship in 2025–26, adidas and Ant will aim to shift from a defining silhouette into a defining line as the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 continues its journey.

By playing off of and overall improving the well-received performance aspects of the AE 1, the model’s market performance will likely hinge on the color options distributed on top of that foundation. That script follows for the “Alphadawg” edition displayed here, carrying the black interior and white exteriors already successful in the “Stormtrooper” AE 1 Mid and Low. To add some extra flavor, throwback Wolves blue dots the tongue logo, mesh, and rear Three Stripes hit. Metallic grey at the toe and on the sidewall anchoring sections round out this edition.

The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Alphadawg” is expected to release on December 6th, retailing for $130 in adult sizing. GS pairs are also on tap.
