The Jordan 6 Rings “Black Ice” is Back Again

For all the flack it takes from Jordan purists, there’s no denying that the Jordan 6 Rings has earned its place in sneaker history. The polarizing hybrid model is one of the most famous of its kind alongside silhouettes like the Dub Zero and Spiz’ike, releasing with remarkable consistency since its debut back in 2008 — a testament to its substantial cult following.

If you’re a fan, you’ll be pleased to learn that Jordan Brand has brought back the model’s “Black Ice” colorway — arguably one of its best in the last decade. This style debuted in 2018, drawing inspiration from the Jordan 11 “Cap & Gown” from that same year with a black patent leather upper and icy blue soles. The sneaker restocked in 2022 and recently fetched upwards of $300 (!!) on the aftermarket. The Jordan 6 Rings draws from the six models Michael Jordan won his championships in, starting with the Jordan 6 and ending with the Jordan 14.

The Jordan 6 Rings “Black Ice” is available now via Nike for $175. Larger sizes are already beginning to sell out, so it’s best to cop sooner rather than later. See our Where To Buy section below for purchase links.
