atmos’ “Glow In The Dark Snake” series with adidas stands as one of the longest-running design themes of the modern era, dating back to 2011 when the retailer debuted its first snakeskin-clad take on the ZX 8000. The adidas Superstar has also seen its fair share of glow-in-the-dark renditions, most recently with a GORE-TEX edition inspired by the model’s quintessential black colorway earlier this summer. Now, atmos flips the concept with another GORE-TEX “G-SNK” Superstar, this time favoring the model’s equally iconic white build with black stripes.
From a distance, these appear like your standard Superstar. A white leather base sets the foundation, black hits follow on the stripes and heel tab, and a slightly off-white hue lands on the midsole and shell toe. The waterproof GORE-TEX construction is the key hardware differentiator, marked with gold GORE-TEX branding on the lateral heel to match the tongue and back-tab logos. Once the lights go out, the stripes and heel tab reveal a glow-in-the-dark snakeskin pattern that emits a bright neon-green hue. A “Designed in Tokyo” tag inspired by the Japanese flag appears inside, while gold atmos x adidas co-branding decorates the insoles.
The atmos x adidas Superstar GORE-TEX “Glow In The Dark Snake” releases in November 2025, likely as an atmos-exclusive drop overseas. See detailed images below if you’re planning to cop.
